Job summary

Worley is seeking a senior civil/structural engineer to review design deliverables for substations and transmission projects. The role requires extensive experience with 500kV structures, structural calculations, and common design tools to ensure project integrity.

The candidate will participate in design reviews, address gaps and risks, and provide technical recommendations to clients, contributing to sustainable energy infrastructure development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil or structural engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant civil/structural experience.
• Experience with 500kV substations or transmission structures preferred.
• Experience reviewing structural calculations and drawings (STAAD Pro or equivalents).
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, and STAAD Pro.

Responsibilities

• Review civil/structural design deliverables across foundations, steel structures, drainage, and site development.
• Review interfaces with 500kV electrical equipment, gantries, terminations, and telecom/I&C systems.
• Identify design gaps, constructability issues, risks, and non-compliances.
• Support design review meetings, comment resolution, and technical recommendations to the client.
