PT Green Konservasi Indonesia is developing large-scale mangrove and peatland restoration projects in Indonesia for premium carbon certification. To support our growing portfolio, we are seeking a Senior Carbon Project Specialist who combines deep technical understanding of Verra methodologies with strong communication skills to lead and coordinate project documentation and stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation of Project Design Documents (PDD) and Monitoring Reports in accordance with Verra VCS and CCB standards

• Translate complex project data and field inputs into clear, audit-ready documentation

• Coordinate technical inputs from consultants, GIS teams, and validation/verification bodies

• Facilitate stakeholder consultations and FPIC processes with communities and partners

• Present project frameworks and methodologies clearly to both local and international stakeholders (including investors, certifiers, and NGOs)

• Stay updated on evolving carbon standards, methodologies, and best practices

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in carbon project development or climate-related consulting

• Demonstrated experience developing Verra-compliant PDDs (preferably in AFOLU sector: mangroves and peatland)

• Solid understanding of MRV (Monitoring, Reporting, Verification) frameworks

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia

• Ability to explain technical concepts to both expert and non-expert audiences

• Strong coordination and project management capabilities
