Job description

We are a rapidly growing manufacturing company seeking a Senior Business Development Manager to lead our market expansion efforts and drive revenue growth. This role will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with distributors and partners, and driving strategic initiatives in key cities across Indonesia.

The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with strong commercial acumen, excellent relationship management skills, and a passion for building and scaling new markets.

Key Responsibilities:

Identify and develop new market opportunities across major Indonesian cities.

Establish and maintain strong relationships with potential distributors, partners, and key clients.

Drive business growth through channel expansion and partner acquisition.

Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to inform strategy.

Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, sales, product) to align business development goals with company objectives.

Develop proposals, pitch materials, and business cases for new initiatives.

Monitor sales pipeline and performance metrics, reporting regularly to management.

Represent the company at industry events, meetings, and trade shows when required.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or a related field.

Minimum 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or strategic partnerships.

Prior experience in FMCG, tobacco, or liquor industry is preferred but not mandatory.

Proven track record in achieving business targets and successfully expanding into new markets.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Strong negotiation and presentation skills.

Strategic thinker with ability to execute tactically.

High level of initiative, independence, and self-motivation.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Comfortable with travel across Indonesia as needed.

Proficiency in English is a must.
