- Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in business development, sales, or key account management.
- Industry experience in food packaging, printing, or FMCG is an added advantage.
- Fluent in Mandarin (required), with strong proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven track record in achieving or exceeding sales targets and growing key accounts.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and meet deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with CRM systems is a plus.
- Willingness to travel for client meetings, trade shows, and business development activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cultivate and maintain long-term relationships with new and existing (local and overseas) clients to drive sustainable business growth.
- Strategically expand the client base through targeted cold calling, networking, and outreach initiatives.
- Promote the company’s products and services by aligning offerings with client needs and business goals.
- Prepare tailored presentations, quotations, and proposals based on client needs.
- Handle client objections and negotiations professionally to achieve win-win outcomes.
- Manage and resolve client complaints promptly, ensuring high standards of customer satisfaction.
- Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and client meetings to identify new opportunities and stay informed of market developments.
- Provide market and competitor insights to management, contributing to product/service development and strategic direction.
- Identify and act on opportunities for campaigns, new service offerings, or market expansion initiatives.
- Ensure accurate and timely data entry of leads, quotations, and orders in the sales system (CRM).
- Support sales forecasting and collaborate with the team to achieve or exceed sales targets.
- Deliver reliable after-sales support to maintain strong client relationships and enhance retention.
- Coordinate with internal departments (e.g. production, shipping, purchasing) to ensure smooth order fulfilment.
- Provide mentorship or guidance to junior team members when necessary.
- Perform any other ad-hoc tasks assigned by superior.
