Job Description
Senior Business Development will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to acquire leads and convert them into customers primarily through tele-sales or direct sales. This is a B2B-focused (brand context) role that requires a strong background in sales and marketing, along with demonstrated success in lead generation and brand conversion.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive sales and marketing strategy to acquire leads and drive customer/brand conversion through tele-sales channel or direct sales.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify target demographic, customer/brand needs, and competition.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development, customer support, marketing SBU, new business incubation and other stakeholders, to ensure alignment and effective execution of sales and marketing initiatives.
- Plan and execute tele-sales/direct sales activities, including outbound calls, cold calling, follow-up calls to prospective customers and visits to brands directly.
- Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline by proactively identifying and engaging with potential customers/brands.
- Deliver and develop persuasive sales (service) presentations to showcase the value proposition and benefits of our products/services.
- Nurture relationships with leads and prospects through effective communication and follow-up strategies.
- Track and analyze sales data and metrics to evaluate performance and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, market dynamics, and emerging tele-sales techniques or direct sales to continuously optimize strategies and achieve sales targets.
- Cross-sell by offering multi-services.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field. Advanced degrees are a plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in B2B sales and marketing.
- Proven track record of successfully planning and executing sales and marketing strategies to acquire leads and convert them into closing for multi-services.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver persuasive sales presentations & consultative selling.
- Strong understanding of customer acquisition, lead generation, and sales funnel management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and maintain relationships with customers/brands.
- Proficient in using CRM software and other sales & marketing tools.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and metrics to drive informed decision making.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Previous experience in B2B SaaS/Solutions is highly desirable.
