About the Company:
Our client is a well-established food ingredients provider with a strong presence across Asia, Europe, and the US. They are currently seeking a Senior BD Manager to join their team in Jakarta, Indonesia. This role will report to the Regional Business Development Director and will play a key role in driving growth across the Indonesian market.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue and profit targets in Indonesia.
  2. Identify growth opportunities with existing clients and build new relationships to expand market share.
  3. Lead the sales team in client negotiations, coaching, and key account relationship management.
  4. Drive business development initiatives, including product launches, promotions, and strategic growth efforts.
  5. Act as the primary contact for key customers and partners, managing issues proactively.
  6. Align local marketing campaigns with internal teams to maximize impact on priority accounts.
  7. Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and pricing strategies to support informed sales decisions.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Food Technology, or a related discipline.
  2. 8–10 years of sales experience in the food ingredients or related B2B industry, with strong technical expertise and regional collaboration skills.
  3. Proven success in business development and key account management, with the ability to effectively engage internal stakeholders.
  4. Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities.
  5. Solid grasp of business fundamentals, market trends, and customer behavior.
  6. Strong communication and negotiation skills, with a strategic, data-driven mindset.
  7. Proficient in English and local languages; willingness to travel extensively within Indonesia.
