Job summary

Dealls – Jobs, CV & Mentoring is seeking backend engineers to build a core HRIS platform integrating attendance, overtime, reimbursement, and payroll. You will ensure data integrity and resilience while scaling relational databases and designing clean, extensible APIs for frontend and third-party integrations.

The role emphasizes transaction-heavy, critical systems with a lean, fast-moving culture and high ownership. Experience with PostgreSQL, Golang, and distributed queues is highly valued.

Qualifications

• 3–7 years of backend development experience.
• Proficient in Golang and relational databases, especially PostgreSQL.
• Strong knowledge of APIs (REST/GraphQL) and data modeling.
• Experience with distributed systems, queues, and caching.
• Familiar with cloud infrastructure (AWS or GCP) is a plus.
• Experience with financial or payroll-related systems is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain backend services for attendance, overtime, reimbursement, and payroll.
• Ensure data integrity and system consistency under concurrent updates.
• Optimize and scale PostgreSQL or other RDBMS systems.
• Design clear APIs to support frontend and integrations.
• Implement event-driven architecture for efficient updates.
• Monitor reliability, latency, and error rates; improve as needed.
• Collaborate with product and engineering to scale the HRIS platform.
