Job summary

Sea is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer in Tangerang to build and scale blockchain-powered backend services and APIs. You will design robust data infrastructures, optimize performance, and ensure security across our applications.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of backend development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Go, Node.js, Python, or Java.
• Experience with blockchain technologies.
• Designing RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Solid knowledge of SQL/NoSQL and caching.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and containers is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and scale backend services and APIs for blockchain applications.
• Implement and manage data infrastructure with a focus on performance.
• Integrate backend systems with various blockchain protocols and third-party services.
• Optimize application performance, reliability, and security.
• Collaborate with frontend engineers, blockchain developers, and DevOps teams.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code, participating in code reviews.
