Job summary

MUFG in Jakarta seeks an experienced banking professional to promote a range of MUFG products to Japanese corporate clients and support revenue targets. You will structure and process banking solutions, negotiate terms, perform due diligence, and prepare deal proposals aligned with our business strategy.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s in finance/economics, has 5+ years in banking, and demonstrates strong English, communication, and presentation skills. Japanese language ability is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in finance, economics, business administration, marketing or a related field.
• Desirable to have at least 5 years of experience in relevant industry.
• Good Command in English. Japanese language ability is advantage
• Good knowledge in macro, microeconomics.
• Having a good communication, negotiation and presentation skill

Responsibilities

• Promoting a range of MUFG products and services to various Japanese Corporate clients.
• Support the Department Head in delivering relevant banking services to meet revenue targets.
• Identify, structure, offer, and process banking solutions (Cash Management, Derivative, Forward, Trade Finance, Lending, Funding).
• Negotiate terms and pricing with customers and seek commercial solutions.
• Monitor daily transactions and ensure timely execution.
• Carry out financial modelling to support deal proposals.
• Collaborate to achieve profit targets.
• Conduct due diligence including KYC, credit, compliance, operation and legal aspects.
• Prepare deal proposals and credit applications to align with strategy and mitigate risk
