About the role

Safrin Maruli Chartered Accountant is seeking a talented Senior Auditor to join our growing practice in East Jakarta. As a Senior Auditor, you will play a crucial role in conducting comprehensive audits for our diverse client base, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work closely with experienced professionals and contribute to the success of our firm.

What you'll be doing

Performing detailed audits of financial statements and records for a range of clients, including public and private companies, non-profit organisations, and government entities

Identifying and evaluating potential risks, internal control weaknesses, and areas for improvement within client organisations

Preparing comprehensive audit reports, highlighting findings, and providing recommendations for enhanced financial management and compliance

Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather and analyse financial data, interpret results, and present findings to clients

Providing technical guidance and training to junior audit team members, ensuring adherence to professional standards and best practices

Staying up-to-date with changes in accounting regulations, industry trends, and audit methodologies to ensure the delivery of high-quality services

What we're looking for

A minimum of 5 years of experience in external auditing, preferably within a reputable accounting firm or a large organisation

A relevant bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field, and a professional certification such as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Accountant (CA)

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address complex financial and compliance issues

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with clients and cross-functional teams

Proficient in the use of audit software, data analysis tools, and the Microsoft Office suite

A commitment to upholding the highest standards of professional ethics and integrity
