Job summary

Mennix & Rekan in Jakarta is seeking an experienced auditor to plan and review audit activities, ensuring they are conducted effectively and in line with professional standards, and to lead the audit engagement.

You will manage the audit team, allocate responsibilities, review performance, ensure timely completion of audits, and verify financial records against GAAP, preparing working papers and delivering an overall opinion.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting with min GPA of 3.00 from a reputable university.
• Proficient in written and spoken English as well as possess good computer skills.
• Interpersonal, organizational, leadership and client relationship skills.
• At least 3 years of working experience in Public Accounting Firm.
• Experience in handling insurance industry clients or possessing knowledge of the insurance industry will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Plan and review audit activities to ensure audits are conducted effectively and in accordance with professional standards.
• Manage the auditor team, allocating responsibilities and reviewing the team's performance
• Ensuring the timely completion of audits
• Auditors review companies accounting records, operational data, and financial records to ensure their financial records are accurate and in line with generally accepted accounting principles.
• Prepare audit working papers in a complete, systematic, and timely manner and ensure they are documented in accordance with professional standards
• Obtain reasonable assurance about whether the financial statements as a whole are free from material misstatement, whether due to fraud or error, and to issue an auditor's report that includes the auditor's opinion.
