The Senior Associate Cross Technology Technical Services (TS) Systems Integration Specialist is a developing subject matter expert, responsible for ensuring that client solution requirements are resolved in line with Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

This role performs configurations, actions installations and attends to break/fix events and works towards associate to professional level certification, whilst at the same time developing business knowledge.

This role is developing proficiency across two or more technologies, namely Networking, Data Centre, Security, Customer Experience, Collaboration and/or End User Compute.

What you'll be doing

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and optimize Service Provider network infrastructure (core, aggregation, and access layers).
• Configure and maintain MPLS, Segment Routing, QoS, LDP, BGP, IS-IS, and other Service Provider-grade routing protocols.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and escalate network performance issues across multi-vendor service environments.
• Support rollout of new services, network expansions, and migrations with minimal service impact.
• Maintain accurate network documentation and support compliance and audit requirements.
• Assist in the automation and streamlining of network operations using scripts or tools.
• Provide Tier 2/3 escalation support for complex networking issues.

Knowledge and Attributes:

• In-depth understanding of Service Provider architecture and Cisco IOS XR, NX-OS, IOS XE.
• Strong knowledge of IP/MPLS networks, traffic engineering, and carrier-grade NAT.
• Familiarity with routing protocols: BGP, IS-IS, OSPF, and multicast protocols in SP environments.
• Understanding of QoS models, policy-based routing, and L2VPN/L3VPN technologies.
• Experience with Segment Routing (SR-MPLS/SRv6) and Fast Reroute (FRR) is highly desirable.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills in large-scale, high-availability environments.
• Familiar with network automation using tools like Ansible, Python, or NETCONF/YANG.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, able to manage multiple priorities, and capable of working under pressure.

Academic Qualifications and Certifications:

• Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• Mandatory Certification: Cisco Certified Network Professional – Service Provider (CCNP SP)
• Preferred/Optional Certifications (a plus): Juniper JNCIP-SP or equivalent

Required Experience:

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in designing, deploying, and operating Service Provider networks.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco Service Provider platforms such as ASR 9000, NCS, Nexus, Catalyst series.
• Proven experience in managing MPLS, QoS, L3VPN, L2VPN, and backbone IP routing.
• Experience in large-scale SP or ISP environments supporting high availability and traffic scalability.
• Exposure to SDN/NFVisaplus.
