Job summary

PT Bank DBS Indonesia seeks a Senior Associate in Operational Risk Management within COO Operations at Jakarta Head Office. The role focuses on implementing risk policies, conducting reviews, and ensuring robust controls across operations.

You will collaborate with stakeholders, prepare risk reports, manage incidents, and support audit and regulatory processes. A minimum of five years in operational risk is required, with strong analytical, communication, and risk-management skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in operational risk management or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and address complex risk issues.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
• Proficiency in risk management tools, risk assessments, KRIs and control testing.

Responsibilities

• Implement the DBSI Operational Risk Management Policy and processes within the Ops unit to ensure a sound risk and control environment.
• Conduct preliminary reviews of proposed deviations from operational risk policies and standards.
• Perform timely reviews of proposed processes/initiatives to ensure proper risk controls and escalate risk issues.
• Participate in initiatives to foster risk awareness and support audits and examinations.
• Prepare accurate and timely operational risk reports based on qualitative and quantitative data.
• Manage reporting, escalation, and investigation of operational risk issues/incidents with root cause analysis.

Value, we serve Institutional Banking Operations and Consumer Banking Operations, manage Customer Centre and IT, provide Group Procurement and Corporate Real Estate, coordinate bank-wide Business Continuity Management program and framework, and deliver service quality for Digibank and IBG/GTS. Our Technology & Operations organization is a vital strategic partner to the business in providing competitive advantage that propels DBSI towards being the Best Bank for a Better World (#B3W).

Responsibilities

• Implement the DBSI Operational Risk Management Policy and processes within the Ops unit with the aim of ensuring a sound risk and control environment
• Conduct preliminary reviews of proposed deviations from operational risk policies and standards
• Perform timely review of proposed processes/initiatives to ensure the implementation of appropriate risk controls and elevate potential risk issues
• Participate actively in initiatives to foster risk and control awareness, including providing support for audit preparation and examination
• Ensure accuracy and timely preparation of periodic operational risk reports based on qualitative and quantitative data
• Manage the timely reporting, escalation, and investigation of operational risk issues/incidents, ensuring data accuracy, thorough root cause analysis, and that issues are timely logged and tracked
• Monitor the timely resolution of issues arising from RCSA exercises, audit findings, and regulatory compliance issue
• Other operational risk related

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in operational risk management or a related field
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and address complex risk issues
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels
• Proficient in using risk management tools and techniques, such as risk assessments, key risk indicators, and control testing
• Thorough understanding of regulatory requirements and industry best practices related to operational risk management
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team to deliver high-quality results
