A career in our Corporate Compliance Services, within Tax services, will provide you with the opportunity to help our clients meet and manage their compliance in financial accounting reporting, payroll administration and non-tax reporting. You’ll advise clients on their local compliance affairs, while acting as a strategic consultant related to business analysis, managing indirect taxes, and managing corporate compliance services.
Our team helps organisations with evolving payroll legislation and provides specialist knowledge to keep our clients compliant and informed. You’ll support our clients with knowledge and experience of operating various payrolls and help deliver a smooth and efficient service that enhances the value we provide our clients.
As a Senior Associate, you’ll play a key role in delivering full-scope accounting services, including payroll administration (tax articles 21/26 and BPJS), and reporting to Bank Indonesia and other relevant authorities. You’ll also provide specialist advice and training in financial accounting, payroll, and corporate compliance reporting.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality accounting, payroll, cash management, and compliance reporting services.
Provide financial reporting aligned with PSAK and non-tax statutory requirements.
Design and implement financial planning and control procedures tailored to client needs.
Review and enhance clients’ accounting and internal control systems.
Liaise with internal and external auditors during audit fieldwork.
Coach and mentor junior team members, fostering a culture of growth and ownership.
Analyze complex business issues and develop actionable recommendations.
Use data and stakeholder insights to support decision-making.
Maintain high professional standards and uphold PwC’s code of ethics.
What We’re Looking For:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Taxation from a recognized university.
2–4 years of relevant experience, preferably in investment accounting consultancy, payroll, and tax.
Strong technical knowledge of Indonesian Tax Legislation, payroll systems, and tax calculations (especially Articles 21 & 26).
Familiarity with e-SPT and BPJS administration.
Exposure to investment banking, financial reporting, and finance operations.
Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken formats.
A collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively in diverse teams.
Intellectual agility and a proactive approach to learning and problem-solving.
