Job summary

RGE in Jakarta is seeking an aircraft maintenance engineer to keep aircraft in safe, compliant condition through proactive maintenance, repairs and inspections.

The role requires a degree in the related field; 1–2 years' experience is a plus, and candidates must be willing to relocate to the job location. You will read diagrams, plan maintenance, and document all records to support safety and reliability.

• 1–2 years of working exposure or experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential.
• Willing to relocate to the job location.

Responsibilities

• Check engines, airframes, electronic and mechanical systems of aircraft to ensure they work correctly and meet safety requirements, in accordance with Civil Aviation Authority regulations.
• Read diagrams and ensure aircraft is in good condition and all maintenance schedules are met.
• Repair or replace faulty or old parts or systems in the aircraft.
• Periodic testing of parts and systems to make sure they work.
• Use electronic test equipment to view structures without taking them apart (non-destructive testing).
• Document all maintenance records of repairs.

Responsibilities:

An aircraft maintenance engineer keeps aircraft in working order through maintenance, repairs and inspections
