Job description

Position Description:

• Design and develop applications using Angular, Java, and Spring Boot.
• Mentor junior staff members.
• Collaborate with product design and engineering teams to understand needs.
• Attend all Agile ceremonies.

Key Required Skills:

• Strong knowledge of modern Java, Angular 9 and above, Spring Boot, Spring, and REST API.

Requirements

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree with 7+ years of experience or a Master's/Doctorate in related fields.
• 10+ years of experience in modern software development, including designing, building, deploying, and running applications.

• Combined experience using Java, Spring Boot, Angular 9 and above, TypeScript, and REST API.

• 8+ years of experience on an Agile development team.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.

Required Skills:

• Extensive experience in programming and designing software with Angular and Java, including Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, Typescript, Hibernate, JPA, and JDBC.
• Strong understanding of OOPS, Twelve Factor App principles, architecture styles, and APIs (Web API/Rest API).
• Experience developing applications with Java/Spring Boot and database components using PostgreSQL or Oracle.
• Strong front-end skills: Angular 9+, HTML/JavaScript, CSS, JQuery.
• Experience with Microservices and REST API development.
• Experience working in Agile projects with tools like JIRA and VersionOne.

Desired Skills:

• Experience with tools and methodologies like Jenkins, Git/BitBucket, Nexus, Maven, OpenShift, AWS, and BDD frameworks.
• Understanding of DevOps environments and Linux.
• Ability to participate in daily scrums and provide project updates.
