Job summary

Mitramas Infosys Global seeks an Android developer to build and maintain apps using Kotlin/Java, MVVM, and Clean Architecture. You will integrate REST APIs, implement secure login and biometrics, and ensure compatibility with new Android versions.

Responsibilities include debugging, performance tuning, unit testing, and preparing release notes and design docs. Prior experience in fintech or payments is a plus, and a strong focus on security is required.

Qualifications

• Experience developing Android apps with Kotlin/Java and architectural patterns (MVVM/Clean Architecture).
• Familiarity with REST APIs, JSON, and secure authentication methods.
• understanding OWASP mobile security and secure coding practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the Android app using Java & Kotlin with MVVM/ Clean Architecture/ Repository Pattern.
• Integrate the app with REST APIs, JSON, and token-based authentication.
• Implement login, PIN, biometric authentication, session timeout, and secure storage.
• Apply secure coding practices, including protection of credentials, tokens, and local storage.
• Implement UI/UX slicing based on the defined design system.
• Perform debugging, performance tuning, memory leak analysis, and crash handling.
• Handle build, APK/AAB signing, keystore management, and Play Store releases when required.
• Adapt the app to the latest Android versions while maintaining backward compatibility.
• Write unit tests/functional tests for developed modules.
• Provide technical design documents, release notes, and related documentation
