Job summary

PT Sinar Jernih Suksesindo is seeking an Android Developer to build, maintain, and enhance banking/digital banking apps, translating requirements into robust Android experiences. You will collaborate with backend, QA, BA, and IT teams across the SDLC.

The ideal candidate has 2–4 years of Android development, strong Kotlin/Java skills, and experience with REST APIs, MVVM/MVC/MVP, and SQLite/Room databases.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of Android development experience.
• Strong knowledge of Kotlin and/or Java.
• Proficient with Android SDK, Android Studio, REST API, JSON, Git.
• Understanding of MVVM/MVC/MVP architecture and clean coding practices.
• Experience with SQLite/Room and basic SQL.

Develop, maintain, and enhance Android applications for banking/digital banking platforms. Translate business and technical requirements into functional Android applications.

Key responsibilities

Develop applications using Kotlin/Java and Android SDK

Integrate applications with REST API/Web Services and backend systems

Perform debugging, troubleshooting, unit testing, and bug fixing

Collaborate with Backend Developer, QA, Business Analyst, and other IT teams throughout the SDLC

Ensure application performance, security, stability, and compatibility across Android devices

Participate in code review, documentation, deployment, and application maintenance

About you

Experience as Android Developer minimal 2–4 years

Strong knowledge of Kotlin and/or Java

Proficient in Android SDK, Android Studio, REST API, JSON, Git

Understanding of MVVM/MVC/MVP architecture and clean coding practices

Experience with database such as SQLite/Room and basic SQL

Understanding of SDLC, API integration, testing, and debugging

Experience in banking/financial technology is preferred

Good analytical and problem-solving skills

Able to work collaboratively in a team and fast-paced environment
