Job summary

Vidio is seeking a senior Android/Kotlin developer in Jakarta to enhance our customized ExoPlayer, maintain CI/CD pipelines, and improve performance across devices. The role includes advancing Jetpack Compose adoption, migrating to Kotlin Multiplatform Mobile, and integrating with TV Partners while ensuring data security and quality.

The ideal candidate has strong Kotlin skills, solid Android fundamentals, and hands-on experience with tests, performance profiling, and Google Play publishing.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Kotlin and Kotlin Coroutines with strong asynchronous programming experience.
• Solid understanding of Android architecture, design patterns, and Clean Architecture.
• Experience with data structures and algorithms for performance‑critical mobile apps.
• Familiar with unit tests and UI tests, and publishing apps to Google Play.

Responsibilities

• Improve customized ExoPlayer implementation and ensure smooth playback.
• Maintain CI/CD, ensuring reliable builds and releases.
• Improve app performance, stability, and resource efficiency across devices.
• Grow user base and interactions within the app.
• Work with Jetpack Compose and productionize new features.
• Migrate codebase to Kotlin Multiplatform Mobile (KMM).
• Integrate with TV Partners and secure Android applications.
