Job summary

Ideku Technology Solution Pte Ltd seeks an experienced Android developer to build and maintain native applications using Kotlin and Jetpack libraries. You will collaborate with product and design teams to define features, write robust code, and ensure high performance and reliability.

The role requires hands-on experience with MVVM, Clean Architecture, and modern Android tooling, including offline-first strategies and integration with Firebase services.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Android development experience with Kotlin.
• Strong knowledge of MVVM and Clean Architecture patterns.
• Proficiency with Jetpack Compose and Coroutine Flow.
• Experience with Dependency Injection, Room DB, and Firebase services.
• Expertise in modular architecture for scalable apps.
• Strong debugging and performance profiling skills.
• Experience with offline-first mobile applications and robust sync strategies.
• Excellent collaboration with Product, Design, and Backend teams.
• Background in POS integrations or hospitality tech is a plus.

• Highly skilled and experienced (minimum 5 years) in Android development using Kotlin

• Deep experience with Jetpack Compose, Coroutine Flow, Dependency Injection, Room DB, and other libraries in our tech stack


• Strong grasp of Firebase services - Analytics, Crashlytics, Remote Config, and Cloud Messaging


• Expertise in modular architecture for testable and scalable Android applications


• Advanced knowledge in performance profiling - including rendering, memory usage, and battery optimization


• Experience building offline-first mobile applications with resilient sync strategies


• Excellent collaboration skills - able to work cross-functionally with Product, Design, and Backend teams


• Background in POS integrations or hospitality tech is a strong plus
