Job summary

Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison seeks a Senior AI/MLOps Engineer to design, automate, and operate enterprise-grade ML pipelines and cloud platforms on Google Cloud. You will enable scalable AI across the digital ecosystem by building CI/CD automation, optimizing BigQuery workflows, and enforcing zero-trust guardrails while supporting Agentic AI framework integrations.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, IT, Computer Engineering, Data Science or related technical field.
• 5+ years total software/data/ML engineering experience; 3+ years in MLOps/DataOps/DevOps in enterprise.
• Deep experience with GCP including Vertex AI, BigQuery, Cloud Storage, IAM and VPC Service Controls.
• Strong BigQuery tuning, partitioning, clustering, and stored procedures.
• Proven track record designing and monitoring Kubeflow or Vertex AI Pipelines.
• Familiarity with model registry workflows, artifact versioning, and lifecycle management.
• Programming & automation: Python, OOP, packaging, Linux and shell scripting.
• DevOps & CI/CD: GitLab CI/CD, Docker, Helm, GitOps; managing private repos with Artifact Registry.
• Security/governance: IAM least-privilege, tokens, DLP best practices.
• Bonus: experience with Agentic AI frameworks and RAG/vector DBs.

Responsibilities

• Architect and operate ML pipelines: Kubeflow or Vertex AI pipelines for training, evaluation, and automated retraining.
• Optimize large-scale data workflows: BigQuery, partitioning, clustering, and multi-million-row datasets.
• Lead platform provisioning across Vertex AI, BigQuery, Cloud Run, Spanner, Storage, and GKE.
• Enforce security guardrails: per-pipeline IAM bindings, VPC-SC perimeters, and secret isolation.
• Drive governance: pre-deployment IAM checks, dependencies, and partner integrations.
• Standardize CI/CD automation: GitLab CI/CD, container packaging, and environment promotion.
• Secure AI tooling: guardrails for internal AI tooling, token sanitization, and auditability.
• Support Agentic AI integrations: MCP, backend connectivity, and runtime configurations.
• Troubleshoot container dependencies, private repos, and runtime differences across tools.
• Collaborate with Data Governance, Cloud Ops, Enterprise Security, and partners for compliance and availability.
