Job description

We are seeking a talented Senior Accounting Officer to join our team at Pacific Bio Industry in Mempawah, West Kalimantan. As a full-time Senior Accounting Officer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing our financial reporting and accounting processes. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the strategic growth and success of our organization.

What you'll be doing

Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards

Maintain general ledger, accounts payable and receivable, and other accounting records, prepare reports such as RTE for DHE Bank and aging reports for AP and AR.

Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and other financial accounts

Assist with budget forecasts in collaboration with management.

Provide support to the finance team and collaborate with other departments to ensure effective financial management

Review financial documents and recommend improvements, Identify and resolve accounting issue, implement efficient accounting practices

Ensure team tasks are accurate and procedural, comply with all relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies

Prepare and coordinate financial audits, support External and Internal Audits (Financial and Tax).

Handle payroll entry through web banking.

Develop and validate accounting systems and tools.

Check VAT Refund data before submission to Tax authorities.

Monitor assets like cash, inventory, liabilities, and fixed assets.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance with at least 5 years of relevant experience.

Strong understanding of Accounting Principles, Practices and Costing in the Refinery Oil Company.

Familiarity with accounting softwareSAP for FICO, MM, SD Modul.

Detail-oriented with strong task follow-through ability.

Able to work effectively within systems, procedures, and team settings.

Capable to working independently, multitasking and meeting deadlines.

Willing to apply and share technical expertise across the organization.

Knowledge in preparing Annual budget data and tax concepts.

Strong analytical skills and proficient in Microsoft Excel.

Good Organizational and deadlines management skills.
