Senior Accounting Manager (Central Java, Manufacturing)

About Company: Our client is a leading consumer product manufacturing company based in Grobogan, Indonesia. But initially to work in Semarang factory first as new factory being built.

About Role: Our client are currently hiring for a Senior Accounting Manager who will play a crucial role in overseeing the daily accounting operations, ensuring financial accuracy, and maintaining compliance with local Indonesian regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting operations of the Indonesia plant, including month-end financial reporting, costing, cash forecasting, budgeting, payroll, VAT, and tax matters.
• Verify all financial transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Liaise with local service providers for accounting, tax, and statutory filing requirements.
• Review and enhance internal controls and procedures related to the plant.
• Supervise the accounting team\'s operations and periodically report important matters to headquarters.
• Assist with ad hoc tasks as assigned by management.

Requirements

• Prior experience in IFRS is highly preferred.
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related disciplines.
• Over 8 years of accounting experience, with at least 5 years in a supervisory role.
• Experience in manufacturing and MNCs is highly preferred.
• Experience overseeing payroll in a large organization
• Proficiency in both written and spoken English & Indonesian; Chinese would be an advantage.
• Proficiency in MS Office and ERP software (familiarity with SAP is a definite advantage).
• Strong team player with excellent administrative skills, proactive, and well-organized.
