Job summary

Traveloka's Controller team oversees accounting, tax, and controls across multiple jurisdictions. This role owns the entity close and reporting process, maintains balance sheets, and coordinates statutory reporting and audits to ensure accuracy and compliance.

You will drive process improvements, collaborate with tax, auditors, and business stakeholders, and develop a high-performing team to support rapid growth across markets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance or related discipline.
• 4-6 years relevant working experience.
• Practical knowledge of IFRS and local accounting standards.
• Analytical, time management and organizational planning skills.
• Ability to meet reporting deadlines and communicate issues clearly.

Responsibilities

• Own the entity close and reporting process across monthly, quarterly, and annual cycles.
• Maintain accounting quality through journal entries, accruals and cut-offs.
• Review reconciliations and intercompany balances with clear ownership.
• Oversee statutory reporting and coordinate external audits.
• Explain material movements in income statement and balance sheet.
• Coordinate tax accounting with the Tax team for filings.
• Identify automation opportunities to reduce manual work.
• Supervise and develop the team, managing capacity and delivery.
