Job summary

Our client, a prominent European industrial engineering company located in South Jakarta, seeks a Senior Accountant to report to the expatriate CFO. The role encompasses full spectrum accounting, month-end/year-end close support, and strict adherence to Indonesian GAAP and tax rules.

Candidate must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance with 5+ years of relevant experience, proficiency in ERP systems (SAP FICO, SAGE Accpac, Xero), and excellent bilingual communication in English and

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of working experience in Accounting or a related position, preferably within an industrial, engineering, or corporate sector.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems (e.g., SAP FICO, SAGE Accpac, or Xero).
Strong understanding of Indonesian GAAP principles, local tax regulations, and statutory requirements.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Bahasa Indonesia.

Responsibilities

Verify, allocate, post, and reconcile accounts payable and receivable transactions.
Manage all aspects of accounting and bookkeeping functions with precision and accuracy.
Prepare error‑free financial statements in accordance with established schedules and reporting requirements.
Provide support during month‑end and year‑end close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
Ensure compliance with Indonesian GAAP, local tax regulations, and statutory reporting standards.
Participate in internal and external audit processes to ensure adherence to compliance standards.
