Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group Indonesia is recruiting on behalf of a leading multinational company with a core focus on global company in the oil & gas services sector. As expansion continues, our client is seeking a professional with at least 5-7 years’ experience in Accounting and Tax, for the job of Senior Accountant. The job is based in Tangerang Selatan, Indonesia.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform monthly close processes, journal entries, and GL reconciliations.
  • Reconcile fixed asset sub-ledger to the general ledger; prepare PP&E and CapEx reports.
  • Maintain tax ledgers and ensure accurate reporting of VAT, PPH 21/23, and annual CIT filings.
  • Support compliance with Indonesian DGT requirements and global transfer pricing regulations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and the tax authority (DJP) for audits and correspondence.
  • Monitor and update lease accounting software and prepaid amortization schedules.
  • Prepare accruals and support corporate tax reporting requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with SOX internal controls and support process documentation.
  • Provide guidance to junior team members as needed.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required; Master’s or MBA preferred.
  • 5–7 years of progressive experience in accounting with at least 5 years in Indonesian tax compliance.
  • Strong exposure to international tax and transfer pricing is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems (Oracle preferred).
