Job description

We are seeking adedicated and experienced Senior Accountantto join our growing team in Jakarta. The ideal candidate will have5+ years of solid accounting experiencein Indonesia, ideally spanning across various industries such asmanufacturing, services, and trading. The role requires fluency inIndonesian and English, with the ability tooperate confidently in an English-speaking environment. Mandarin Chinese proficiency—especially inreading and writing—is a significant advantage.

This is afast-paced, high-responsibility role, and we are looking for someone who is proactive, organized, and capable of delivering quality workindependently and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare journal entries and maintain general ledger (GL) reconciliations;

Perform daily bookkeeping, month-end, and year-end closing processes;

Prepare bank reconciliations to ensure alignment with cash transactions;

Prepare financial statements includingBalance Sheet, P&L, Cash Flow, and others as required;

Handle and reconcile fixed asset depreciation, amortization, and VAT (input/output);

Organize and manage petty cash, AP and AR.

Tax Compliance & Reporting

Prepare and reconcilewithholding tax (Art. 21/26, 22, 23/26, 4.2)andVATtransactions;

Preparemonthly tax filings(VAT, WHT, PPh 21/23/25) andyear-end tax reportsincludingfiscal corrections and CIT;

Maintain and reconcilenominative datafor tax purposes as required;

Coordinate with tax consultants and ensure timely payment and submission of all tax obligations.

Finance, Payroll & Budgeting

Calculate and prepare monthly payroll;

Assist in budget planning, cash flow forecasting, and internal reporting;

Contribute to improvement of financial systems and processes;

Ensure smooth, efficient and optimised operation of all finance-related activities.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field;

Minimum5 yearsof accounting experience in Indonesia;

Experience acrossmultiple sectors(manufacturing, services, trading) is preferred;

Familiarity withIndonesian tax regulations and compliance;

Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., Accurate, Jurnal, or similar);

Fluent inBahasa Indonesia and English(written and spoken);

Mandarin Chineseproficiency is aplus, especially inreading and writing;

Excellent attention to detail and accountability;

Strong time management and multitasking skills;
