Senior Account Manager (sell AEC solutions - CAD/CAM/CAE/PLM)

We are seeking a Senior Account Manager with experience in selling engineering software or services such as Catia, UG NX, CAE, Solidworks, AutoDesk, CAD, Teamcenter, etc.

Ideal candidates will have a background in selling into manufacturing, engineering, automotive, aviation, aerospace, tool & die, tooling industries.

The role requires a solid understanding of the complete sales cycle, from prospecting to closing, and success in managing a sales pipeline and forecast.

Responsibilities include developing new accounts, servicing existing customers, expanding product range and usage within the assigned territory, and exceeding sales growth targets.

The candidate should cultivate strong customer relationships and be capable of organizing and planning sales activities effectively.

This position involves managing existing customers and prospecting new ones, potentially leading a business unit alongside a team of technical personnel.

You will be responsible for meeting sales targets as per the commission plan, providing monthly forecasts, maintaining a healthy sales pipeline (3x of target), and ensuring timely and accurate reporting.

Additional duties include executing sales activities, supporting ad-hoc tasks as assigned, and maintaining a professional approach to sales management.
