Keywords Studios Asia is seeking a seasoned Environment Artist to join our team on an exciting AAA project. You will create high-quality environment art, iterate toward optimized worlds, and collaborate closely with art direction, level design, and tech art to deliver visually impressive environments.

The role requires 5+ years in shipped AAA or high-quality games, a strong portfolio, and proficiency with Unreal or Unity (or proprietary engines).

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Environment Artist on a shipped AAA or high-quality game project.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating environment art fundamentals and processes.
• Proficiency with modern game engines (Unreal, Unity or proprietary engines).
• Experience with lighting workflows and real-time optimization.

Responsibilities

• Create high-quality environment art that supports gameplay and narrative.
• Build, iterate, and optimize environments for performance and visuals.
• Collaborate with art direction, level design, and tech art to craft worlds.
• Apply modular and kit-based approaches to environment art.
• Troubleshoot performance, consistency, and technical constraints across platforms.
• Contribute to visual benchmarks and refine environment art workflows.
• Understand textures and materials and apply them across scenes.
