Job summary

NOV is seeking an experienced crane operator to operate a 400-ton crawler crane on our Batam project. The role requires adherence to approved lift plans, load charts, and site safety requirements, with daily inspections and proactive reporting of any issues.

The ideal candidate has a strong safety record, 5+ years of crawler crane experience on large projects, and relevant licenses or certifications. The position is on-site in Batam with demanding schedules and a focus on safe, efficient lifting

Qualifications

• Valid Crane Operator License/Certification recognized by local authorities.
• Certified and authorized to operate crawler cranes up to 400-ton capacity.
• Minimum 5 years of experience operating crawler cranes on construction, industrial, oil & gas, shipyard, or infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Operate the 400-ton crawler crane safely and efficiently according to lift plans and site procedures.
• Perform daily pre-start inspections and routine checks of the crane and related equipment.
• Coordinate with riggers, signalmen, lifting supervisors and site management during lifting activities.
