Job summary

U.S. Embassy Surabaya seeks a Security Guard Supervisor to provide security for personnel and facilities, conduct access control and visitor screening, and report incidents.

The role includes supervising local guard shifts, planning assignments, and coordinating with facilities staff to safeguard government property. Eligible candidates must obtain a Public Trust security clearance, begin within four weeks, and hold a high school diploma or local equivalent.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in military, police, or security guard work.
• Good working knowledge of English and Bahasa Indonesia (speaking, reading, writing).
• Must have held a valid driver’s license for at least five years.
• Public Trust / Background Investigation security clearance is required.
• Be able to start within 4 weeks after authorization/clearances.
