Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Security Program Manager for AWS Infrastructure Security in Jakarta. You will own end-to-end delivery of critical physical security systems across new builds, expansions, and upgrades, interfacing with design, construction and operations teams to ensure secure, scalable deployments.

You will review plans, mitigate risks, and coordinate with vendors and internal stakeholders while traveling as needed to support launches globally.

Qualifications

• Fluency in Bahasa and English, with ability to communicate with local and international stakeholders.
• 5+ years of experience in managing and delivering Physical Security System projects.
• Subject Matter Expertise in Access Control, Intrusion Detection, and Video Surveillance Systems.
• Demonstrated ability to use AutoCad/Desk, BIM, Bluebeam.
• Working knowledge of network fundamentals, system integration, IoT devices, or centrally managed security platforms.

Security Program Manager (SPM) bridges the gap between security design, construction, and operational readiness.

The Security Program Manager will own the end-to-end delivery and life cycle of critical physical security systems, including Access Control, Intrusion Detection, and Video surveillance systems, and associated infrastructure, across new builds, expansions, and upgrades. As we shift toward automated, fleet-scale operations, your technical acumen will be critical. Acting as a key link between design, construction, and operations, you will review technical plans, identify and mitigate risks, and coordinate cross-functional teams including construction partners, design engineers, network specialists, and external integrators to ensure security devices seamlessly connects with centrally managed software platforms.

We are looking for a proactive leader who thrives in ambiguity and is comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment where the construction schedules are constantly evolving.

Key job responsibilities

• Serve as the key business partner working directly with service business partners and internal stakeholders (primarily infrastructure, physical security and operations teams).
• Collaborate with engineers, technicians, project managers, and Sr. Leaders to develop your programs.
• Drive process change and improvement across multiple business and program teams.
• Report ad hoc, weekly, and monthly program and operating metrics.
• Run meetings, create and maintain timelines, and keep large, diverse groups informed of progress and obstacles.
• Manage security system integration vendor contracts to deliver projects.
• Communicate the status of programs with customers, stakeholders and conduct program reviews.
• Must be willing to travel 15% of the time as required when launching new locations (Domestically and Internationally).

About the team

The Infrastructure Security Team is accountable for ensuring that the foundation of AWS operates and scales securely. This team is responsible for the security of the hardware supply chain, AWS datacenters, and the AWS network. We build operational security solutions that are critical to the operations of AWS infrastructure, including identity management, security telemetry and threat analysis, hardware component validation, and ensuring third-party suppliers meet the AWS security bar.

• Experienced in vendor management and procurement process, including the establishment of key performance indicators and service level agreement
• Fluency in Bahasa and English, with the competency to communicate effectively with both local and overseas stakeholders
• 5 years of experience in managing and delivering Physical Security System projects
• Subject Matter Expertise (SME) in Access Control, Intrusion Detection, and Video Surveillance Systems

• BA/BS degree or higher in related field of architecture, engineering, or project management. PSP, CPP, PMP Certification will be an added advantage.
• Demonstrated ability to use AutoCad/Desk, BIM, Bluebeam
• Working knowledge of network fundamentals, system integration, IoT devices, or centrally managed security platforms.
