Job summary

Amazon is hiring a Datacenter Security Specialist, DC Security APJC to coordinate day-to-day security activities at the SIN Cluster data center(s) in Indonesia, under the guidance of an experienced manager. The role involves vendor coordination, audits, and enforcing AWS security standards.

Required are 2 years in security operations, audit-reporting experience, business-level English, tertiary education, and MS Office proficiency.

Qualifications

• 2 years of work experience in security operations.
• Experience writing audit reports.
• Proficiency in business-level English communication skills to drive internal and external stakeholder relationships, including 3rd-party vendors.
• Completion of tertiary level education.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the day-to-day security activities for the assigned data center(s) under guidance of an experienced manager.
• Assess vendor compliance based on the established work order, track service deliverables and raise corrective actions to a senior team member as needed.
• Provide support to all vendors within the data center.
• Conduct inspections, audits and reviews in the area of responsibility and ensure compliance with AWS security standards and policies.
• Lead the media security requirements within the data center.
• Participate in regular meetings with vendors, data center operations and other partner teams to accomplish operational consistency.
• Effectively communicate with partner teams when providing awareness of security policies and procedures.
• Troubleshoot security devices in conjunction with the local security system integrator.

AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. We support all AWS data centers and the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that keep our customers continuously online. This role helps maintain the highest standards for safety and security across the SIN Cluster and is available with training for interested candidates.
