The role emphasizes building a robust security posture, threat detection enhancements, and strong collaboration with IT/engineering to embed security in CI/CD and IaC pipelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field.
• 7+ years in cybersecurity, 4+ in a SOC leadership role.
• Experience building/leading SOC teams, preferably remote.
• Knowledge of SOC tech, threat intel, IR methodologies, and security frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain security technologies such as SIEM, SOAR, EDR, and IDS/IPS.
• Automate security workflows and incident response using scripting and orchestration tools.
• Lead investigations and remediation of complex security incidents.
• Collaborate with IT/engineering to integrate security into CI/CD and IaC.
• Tune performance of security monitoring/detection systems.
• Document security tools, processes, and runbooks.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements
