Job Description

The Security Engineer at Traveloka is responsible for ensuring that Traveloka’s products, services, infrastructures, and business operations meet high-security standards through control, verification, testing, design, monitoring, and implementation of technical security practices.

DevSecOps integrates development, security, and operations within the software development, deployment, and operational landscape. Positioned under the Information Security at Traveloka, the DevSecOps team delivers security technology across all departments. It emphasizes embedding security at every stage of software and system engineering, even before development and after deployment. Success in this role requires strong analytical, reasoning, and managerial skills to understand environment needs and craft tailored security solutions.

Requirements

• Proven experience managing software, security, infrastructure, or DevOps engineers in implementing security solutions in large-scale repositories and platforms, with at least 2 years of leadership and 3 years as an individual contributor.
• Experience managing software development and DevOps projects using agile methodologies.
• Fluent in programming languages and shell scripting.
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS and GCP.
• Knowledge of Java, Node.js, Python, and mobile platforms (Android/iOS) is a plus.
• Strong understanding of web and mobile application security vulnerabilities and Linux exploitation.
• Ability to demonstrate security testing and control implementation such as SAST, DAST, IAST, SCA, WAF, secure-by-design, and runtime security.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Self-initiative to bridge gaps between Software, Infrastructure, and Security Engineering, providing frameworks for security assurance.
• Commitment to cybersecurity and continuous learning about new technologies.
