Qualifications

• Assist the Security Manager in safety & security operations
• Oversee interior and perimeter patrols of the hotel and property
• Coordinate safety training, including CPR, fire safety, workplace violence prevention, and driver training
• Serve as liaison with law enforcement agencies
• Prepare and manage reports and documentation accurately
• Respond promptly and courteously to guest inquiries and requests
• Monitor and develop team performance through supervision, scheduling, counseling, evaluations, and professional development
• Implement the hotel's key control program
• Manage fire and life safety policies and procedures
• Audit key control procedures for compliance
• Administer access control and CCTV systems
• Document incidents related to crime, subversion, liabilities, and insurance, maintaining objectivity and comprehensive reporting
• Organize security and firefighting teams during emergencies
• Politely question suspicious individuals; refuse entry if necessary; seek assistance when needed
• Conduct associate bag checks and locker searches per hotel policy
• Control the movement of associates at hotel entrances
• Perform any other duties or redeployments as needed to meet business and guest service needs
