Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Science and Math Teacher for Lower Secondary to join our community-based school in Sanur, Bali (Indonesia).

This community-based school established in 1997 is located in Sanur, Bali - Indonesia. As a registered Cambridge School, we provide education from Play group (2 years old) up until Grade 9 (14/15 years old). Student numbers currently stand at 140 students with various nationalities and divided into two campuses of Early Years Campus (from Play group up until Grade 3) and Primary Campus (from Grade 4 up until Grade 9). Our teachers are coming from Indonesia and other countries such as USA, Australia, Philippine, and India with a total of approximately 25 teachers and 20 - 30% are expatriate.

Responsibilities

• Developing and issuing educational content including notes, tests, and assignments.
• Supervising classes to ensure all students are learning in a safe and productive environment.
• Organizing supplies and resources for lectures and presentations.
• Delivering personalized instruction to each student by encouraging interactive learning.
• Planning and implementing educational activities and events.
• Ensuring your classroom is clean and orderly.
• Preparing and distributing periodic progress reports and semester report cards.
• Attending parent-teacher meetings.
• Evaluating and documenting students' progress.
• Allocating and grading homework, assignments, and tests.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field.
• Teaching certification.
• Proven experience as a Science and Math teacher.
