Qualifications

About the Role

Join Accenture's SAP practice and help organizations maintain, optimize, and transform their SAP technology landscape. As an SAP Basis Consultant, you will work across a variety of SAP environments, supporting system administration, operations, performance optimization, upgrades, migrations, and cloud adoption initiatives. Depending on your experience level, you may contribute as an individual contributor, technical specialist, team lead, or delivery leader.

This role offers opportunities to work across multiple industries, collaborate with global teams, and develop expertise in modern SAP platforms including SAP S/4HANA, SAP HANA, and cloud-based SAP environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the administration, monitoring, and maintenance of SAP systems across development, testing, and production environments.
• Perform SAP installations, upgrades, migration activities, system refreshes, patching, and transport management.
• Monitor system performance and availability, identify issues, and implement corrective actions to improve platform stability.
• Participate in incident management, problem resolution, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support SAP HANA database administration activities, including performance monitoring and optimization.
• Collaborate with application, infrastructure, security, and business teams to deliver operational and project-related objectives.
• Contribute to high availability, disaster recovery, backup, recovery, and security compliance activities.
• Support cloud transformation, infrastructure modernization, and SAP landscape optimization initiatives.
• Share technical knowledge, mentor junior team members, and contribute to team capability development based on career level.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Experience in SAP Basis administration and support within enterprise SAP environments.
• Knowledge of SAP NetWeaver, SAP S/4HANA, SAP HANA, or related SAP technologies.
• Understanding of system monitoring, performance tuning, transport management, and troubleshooting methodologies.
• Experience supporting SAP upgrades, patching, migrations, or landscape management activities.
• Familiarity with operating systems, databases, networking fundamentals, and infrastructure concepts supporting SAP environments.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within local and global delivery teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA implementation or transformation programs.
• SAP Basis, SAP HANA, Technology Associate, or related SAP certifications.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud supporting SAP workloads.
• Knowledge of automation, scripting, DevOps practices, and monitoring tools.
• Experience working in managed services, application support, or large-scale SAP operations environments.
• Experience leading technical teams, delivery workstreams, or operational support teams for senior-level candidates
