Job description

The IT Engineer will serve as the first point of contact for all IT-related inquiries and issues within the organization. This role is responsible for receiving, logging, and addressing user service requests and incidents promptly, while ensuring continuity and efficiency in IT operations across business units.

Key Responsibilities:

Act as the initial contact point for IT support, documenting and tracking user issues and service requests in an accurate and timely manner.

Provide first-level support and troubleshooting across a range of application systems, including but not limited to SAP (MM, SD, PP, FICO modules), CRM, SRM, TMS, and Weighing Systems.

Deliver responsive and effective solutions for user inquiries, or escalate to second-level IT staff, system analysts, or external vendors when necessary to ensure timely resolution.

Regularly categorize and analyze recurring system malfunctions to identify patterns or potential root causes.

Propose service enhancements based on trend analysis and collaborate with relevant teams—or lead initiatives—to implement approved improvement plans.

Support remote troubleshooting as needed

Job Requirements:

Strong understanding of SAP modules relevant to operations, specifically MM, SD, PP, and FICO.

Proficient in using the corporate WeChat ecosystem and familiar with Microsoft Office / O365 tools.

Hands-on experience with application software used in the manufacturing sector, such as ERP, WMS, and MES systems.

Minimum of 3 years’ experience in IT operations and application support, preferably within the manufacturing industry.

Fluent in English, both written and verbal, to support cross-functional and cross-regional communication.
