Sampoerna Academy in Medan is seeking a capable Homeroom Teacher to provide a nurturing, developmentally appropriate learning environment for children aged 1.5 to 5 years, aligned with IEYC. You will teach ELAR, Numeracy, Science, Art, Music, and ICT (K2) and collaborate with parents.

A Bachelor's degree in Psychology or Early Childhood Education or English/Chinese is required, with at least five years of private or international school experience.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's Degree in Psychology or Early Childhood Education or English/Chinese Language
• Minimum 5 years experience in teaching Early Years in private or international school
• Has familiarity with Singaporean Math or IEYC curriculum
• Fluent communication in English is a must. Basic Mandarin Language would be preferable
• Proven ability to develop successful academic programs.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and implement engaging and differentiated lesson plans based on the IEYC framework to promote children's cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.
• Establish and maintain a safe, orderly, and stimulating classroom environment conducive to learning. Manage classroom resources, materials, and equipment effectively to support teaching and learning activities.
• Conduct ongoing observations and assessments to monitor children's progress and development.
• Establish open and collaborative partnerships with parents/guardians through regular communication, including parent-teacher conferences, newsletters, and informal updates.

Job Description

To provide a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for young learners aged 1.5 to 5 years. Guided by the relevant curriculum, Homeroom Teacher will lead the implementation of developmentally appropriate practices to support children's holistic growth and development. Homeroom Teacher will be teaching the subjects; ELAR, Numeracy, Science, Art, Music and ICT (for K2 only) that are aligned with relevant curriculums implemented in the ELC departments.
