Job summary

Sampoerna Academy in Indonesia is seeking an ICT and Computer Science Teacher for AY 26/27, on a contract basis. The role involves delivering the ICT and CS curriculum to students, integrating Scratch, Python, and robotics projects.

You will plan lessons, assess student progress, collaborate with colleagues and parents, and help students become confident, creative thinkers prepared for tertiary education.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Education, or a related field.
• Practical familiarity with Scratch (block-based coding) and fundamental Python.
• Experience in primary ICT or secondary Computer Science; Cambridge IGCSE familiarity is an advantage.
• Enthusiasm for coaching hands-on robotics using Makeblock (mBot) or Arduino; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Plan, set and deliver standards for learning.
• Prepare and support critical thinking for students in classroom.
• Observe and evaluate students' performance and development.
• Understand academic, social and behavioral needs of high-level students.
