About the role

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Sales Staff to join our team at PT Giant Transporter Indonesia, a leading freight and cargo forwarding company based in Makassar, South Sulawesi. As a full-time Sales Staff, you will be responsible for driving new business opportunities and building strong relationships with our valued clients.

What you'll be doing

  • Actively prospecting for new clients and generating sales leads
  • Cultivating and maintaining positive relationships with existing clients
  • Providing exceptional customer service and addressing client inquiries promptly
  • Preparing and presenting sales proposals and quotations
  • Negotiating contracts and closing sales deals
  • Staying up-to-date with industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities
  • Collaborating with the operations team to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Achieving and exceeding individual and team sales targets

What we're looking for

  • Proven track record in a sales or customer service role, preferably within the freight/cargo forwarding industry
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients
  • Excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills
  • Familiarity with freight and cargo forwarding processes and regulations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and customer relationship management (CRM) software
  • A self-motivated and results-driven approach to work
  • Fluency in Bahasa Indonesia and English
