Monroe Consulting Group Indonesia, an executive recruitment company, is recruiting on behalf of a leading national company specializing in heavy equipment fabrication, reconditioning, and workshop services. As part of their continued growth, our client is seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Sales & Operations Manager to lead sales and operational excellence, drive business performance, and strengthen customer relationships within the mining and heavy industry sectors. The position will be based in Samarinda, Indonesia.

Responsibilities
  • Report directly to the General Manager and lead overall sales and operations performance in the assigned area.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies, methods, and standards to achieve company objectives.
  • Analyze data and sales trends to establish sales targets, plans, and demand forecasts.
  • Lead the prospecting process for new customers, including proposal preparation, product presentations, negotiations, and agreement finalization.
  • Oversee administrative processes, reconciliations, and documentation related to sales operations.
  • Manage key account relationships and ensure customer satisfaction through consistent engagement and service excellence.
  • Monitor asset commercialization processes and evaluate tenant or client performance.
  • Supervise sales order management, track performance, review reports, and maintain an updated customer database.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related discipline from a reputable university.
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in a managerial role within the heavy equipment reconditioning, remanufacturing, or workshop industry, with a strong background in sales and operations.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute business development strategies and deliver commercial growth.
  • Strong networking within mining and heavy industry clients.
  • Deep understanding of manufacturing processes, production technologies, and safety program development.
  • Strong leadership, team management, and talent development skills.
  • Excellent analytical and data-driven decision-making capabilities.
  • Solid understanding of applicable safety, health, and environmental regulations.
  • Willing to be based in Samarinda, East Kalimantan.
