The Sales Manager supports the Director of Sales in leading the Sales Team, overseeing negotiations, and handling various events such as Corporate, FIT, M.I.C.E., Social, and Tour & Travel. This role ensures the department operates smoothly to maximize business opportunities and uphold high service standards.

What will I be doing?

As the Sales Manager, your responsibilities include:

  • Completing Hilton University courses and passing assessments.
  • Gaining comprehensive knowledge of hotel products and activities.
  • Promoting and selling all hotel products, including rooms, catering, and banquets.
  • Achieving sales targets and related objectives.
  • Developing sales plans, obtaining approvals, and nurturing customer relationships.
  • Understanding customer needs via calls, visits, and other methods.
  • Preparing quotations, sending contracts, and following up promptly.
  • Conducting hotel tours for clients.
  • Operating reservation systems for bookings.
  • Dispatching work orders and ensuring departmental communication.
  • Maintaining customer relationships and updating information.
  • Recommending other hotel group brands to clients.
  • Monitoring market and industry trends to identify business opportunities.
  • Gathering competitor product information and reporting insights.
  • Welcoming key clients and VIPs.
  • Motivating and training team members.
  • Facilitating communication between sales and operations teams.
  • Handling guest feedback and complaints.
  • Maximizing sales and forecasting revenue.
  • Supervising team quotes and contracts development.
  • Participating in marketing and budget planning.
  • Designing new hotel products aligned with market demand.
  • Organizing customer experiences and team-building events.
  • Analyzing tourist source markets and expanding channels.
