Sales Manager (Mandarin Speaker) - Electrical MNC

You will be responsible for overseeing the entire sales operation, developing strategies to meet revenue targets, and managing distributor relationships.

Our client is a well-known electrical multinational company.

Description

  1. Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to increase revenue and expand market share by building a network of distributors.
  2. Distributor Relationship Management: Identify, recruit, and build long-term relationships with new distributors. Develop training programs and provide ongoing support to ensure distributors meet sales goals and align with company standards.
  3. Market Expansion: Identify new market opportunities, conduct market research, and drive growth in underrepresented areas by acquiring new distributors and strengthening partnerships.
  4. Sales Operations: Oversee all sales activities, including preparing sales forecasts, managing budgets, and ensuring the timely delivery of products to distributors.
  5. Contract Negotiation: Negotiate distribution agreements, ensuring mutually beneficial terms while complying with company policies and regional regulations.
  6. Customer Support: Act as the main point of contact for distributors, ensuring their needs are met and providing support with any product or sales-related issues.
  7. Reporting: Provide regular reports on sales performance, market conditions, and distributor activities. Share insights and recommendations to senior management on how to improve sales processes and distributor performance.

Profile

  1. Language Proficiency: Fluent in Mandarin (both written and spoken). Ability to communicate effectively with Mandarin-speaking distributors and stakeholders is essential.
  2. Experience: Proven experience (5+ years) in sales, preferably within the electrical or manufacturing industry. Previous experience in building distributor networks or working independently is highly desirable.
  3. Self-Starter: Strong ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and drive results without direct team supervision.
  4. Relationship Building: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and maintain strong relationships with distributors.
  5. Sales Acumen: Proven track record of achieving sales targets, identifying new business opportunities, and negotiating successful contracts.
  6. Market Knowledge: Understanding of the electrical industry, including product offerings, market trends, and distributor dynamics, is a plus.
