Job description

  • Monitor hotel spend and identify opportunities to optimize sales while minimizing waste.
  • Negotiate sales prices within booking guidelines.
  • Monitor competitors' activities and assist in gathering marketing intelligence.
  • Sell to new, existing, and prospective customers, considering goals set in the sales strategy, and negotiate rates beneficial to the business.
  • Manage existing accounts to service ongoing business.
  • Ensure a successful and memorable client experience, acting as the brand ambassador and main contact throughout their journey.
  • Build long-term relationships with planners and hosts to enhance loyalty to the brand.
  • Participate in sales calls with team members to acquire new business or close deals.
  • Support operational aspects of booked business, such as generating proposals, drafting contracts, and handling customer correspondence.
  • Align with business needs and prioritize tasks that help guests achieve their objectives.
  • Engage with guests to gather feedback on product quality and service levels.

What we need from you

  • Based in Jakarta.
  • Strong knowledge of local business trends and understanding of the market.
  • Confident communicator with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in business language and tools.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in hospitality or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a related role.
  • Fluent in local language(s).
