Responsibilities
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure satisfaction and loyalty
    • Conduct regular client visits to understand needs and deliver customized ocean freight logistics solutions
    • Develop new clients through calls, emails, meetings, and networking to expand market share
  • Create and execute a personal sales plan to meet company-assigned targets
    • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to formulate effective sales strategies
    • Provide regular sales progress reports and market feedback
  • Contract Negotiation & Signing
    • Negotiate contracts with clients to ensure favorable terms for the company
    • Coordinate internal resources to ensure smooth execution of contracts
  • Customer Service & Support
    • Liaise with internal teams (e.g., marketing, operations, finance) to respond to client needs promptly
    • Proactively handle client complaints and resolve logistics issues to maintain satisfaction
    • Identify process inefficiencies and work with supervisors to address recurring problems
  • Market Research & Analysis
    • Gather market intelligence and analyze industry trends to identify potential opportunities
    • Regularly submit market analysis reports to support strategic decisions at the department and company level
  • Work closely with supervisors and other departments to ensure sales targets are met
  • Actively participate in sales training sessions and meetings to improve overall team capabilities in sales and customer service
Job Requirements
  • 1. Education: Bachelor’s degree or above
  • 2. Work Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in ocean freight logistics sales, with a stable portfolio of direct clients; Familiarity with ocean freight procedures and international trade regulations
  • 3. Skills: Excellent communication and negotiation skills for building long-term client partnerships; Strong market analysis capability and customer-oriented mindset; Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); CRM system knowledge is a plus
  • 4. Personal Attributes: Proactive, resilient, and self-driven; Strong team player, adaptable to fast-paced environments and willing to travel as needed; High level of responsibility and professional ethics
