Our client, a luxury beach resort located in the cosmopolitan hub of Bali island that attracts guests seeking both excitement and relaxation, is actively seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead and grow the MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) segment.
This role will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong relationships with corporate and event clients, and implementing strategic sales initiatives to maximize revenue from MICE accounts. The ideal candidate is target-driven, highly personable, and has a strong network within the corporate and event planning community.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a hotel sales role or similar capacity for 4* or 5* Hotel operations in Bali
- Proven ability to exceed sales targets and consistently deliver strong performance in a competitive market
- Passion for client relations with a track record of exceeding expectations through tailored service and strategic engagement
- Strong motivation, integrity, and resilience, with a results-oriented mindset and positive attitude
- Proficiency in Opera PMS and Delphi CRM is required
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- Willingness to travel as part of the role
- Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail
- A confident and personable demeanour with the ability to build long-lasting relationships

Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain a high level of repeat business through strong analytical, communication, customer service, and organizational capabilities
- Manage local business development, including strategic planning, market expansion, and operational execution
- Coordinate with key clients, government entities, and industry associations to strengthen business relationships
- Identify and capture new business opportunities across various market segments by leveraging best practices
- Build and manage a targeted pipeline of potential clients or niche markets to support revenue growth
- Collaborate with internal departments and external networks to prioritize and penetrate key accounts
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to drive business results
- Monitor trends in the hospitality industry and broader economy, providing strategic insights to the management team
- Prepare and submit weekly sales and activity reports to track progress and performance
- Work closely with the Executive team and support the Director of Sales & Revenue in achieving commercial objectives
- Participate in Management, Sales, and Revenue meetings to identify new opportunities for business development
- Operate with a high level of autonomy, offering space to apply creativity and entrepreneurial skills in a fast-paced environment
