Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sales strategies that align with the magazine's goals and drive growth in advertising revenue across all platforms.
- Manage client relationships, identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell advertising solutions.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in target markets; develop proposals and presentations for potential clients.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics; prepare regular reports on activity, revenue forecasts, and market trends for senior management.
- Collaborate with editorial, marketing, and production teams to ensure cohesive advertising strategies that resonate with the audience.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market demands to position the magazine effectively.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years in sales, preferably in the media or publishing industry.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
- In-depth knowledge of media sales and the men’s lifestyle market.
- A strong network of well-established contacts is advantageous.
