A manufacturing company in Indonesia is seeking a Sales Manager to develop business strategies and oversee the sales team. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in sales or marketing, strong communication skills, and fluency in English. Experience in a manufacturing environment is essential, and proficiency in Japanese is a plus. The role requires strong management and organizational skills to meet production targets.
Develop the company’s annual business plan.
Prepare and update the sales operational plan on a monthly basis.
Manage and oversee routine tasks of the sales team, including collecting purchase orders, receiving and distributing drawings to Production Engineering, and maintaining customer drawings.
Validate pricing and provide customer quotations.
Source special steel for projects in coordination with the Purchasing team.
Organize schedules and ensure production targets are met together with PPIC.
Control customer orders in collaboration with PPIC.
Manage communication channels with customers.
Maintain in-depth knowledge of the company’s products and services.
Oversee sales collections and account receivables.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in Sales/Marketing within a manufacturing company.
Minimum GPA of 2.75 on a 4.00 scale.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
Japanese language proficiency is an advantage.
Independent, innovative, communicative, and able to work under pressure.
